HISTORY

The Psychic Survey firm of Nancy bears this name since 1901

but it was born about 1880 under the name of the school of Nancy.

 

Doctor LIEBAULT operated with the faculty of Nancy.

Sensational results were obtained by its competence of hypnotist.

It employed this method on the patients who did not support the anaesthesia made by chloroform.

Professor BERNHEIM and other surgeons of the time appealed regularly to him

as soon as they were to practise an operation on a patient allergic to chloroform.

 

The notoriety of this method made run to Nancy of many pupils and among them famous Sigmund Freud.

All this research showed the possibility for new possibilities in the medical world.

Research centers were thus created in France then abroad, in particular in Switzerland and Belgium.
